Alpha® Black Belt Rail Saw BBS-012 (115V)
The Alpha® Black Belt Rail Saw BBS-012 is a professional 115 V rail saw built for tile installers, stone fabricators and hardscape contractors. A rugged aluminum table chassis, stainless-steel head rails and adjustable armored ball bearings deliver smooth, precision movement, while a maintenance-free magnetic-induction water pump feeds both sides of the blade. The direct-drive 2 HP (1.5 kW) motor accepts 10" and 12" blades, cuts up to 2-1/4" deep in a single pass (3-3/8" with step cut), and side-tilts up to 45° for clean miter cuts.

- Set the saw on a level surface, deploy the retractable legs and engage the fall-protection device.
- Connect water reservoir and verify the magnetic-induction pump delivers steady flow to both sides of the blade.
- Mount a 10" or 12" Alpha® diamond blade (1" or 60 mm arbor) and tighten the arbor nut firmly.
- Set cutting depth using the mechanical vertical tilting system; for cuts over 2-1/4" use the step-cut method.
- For miter cuts, side-tilt the head up to 45° and lock in position before starting the saw.
- Start the motor, let it reach full speed, then feed material with slow, even pressure — let the blade do the work.
- After use, drain the water tray, wipe rails dry and store the saw under cover; check brushes periodically.
